Located just 25 minutes from downtown San Diego, Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club is one of the premier semi-private golf clubs in the greater San Diego area. The 6,400 yard course meanders through an upscale residential community, presenting the golfer with panoramic mountain views. Since no two holes adjoin each other, golfers feel they have the course to themselves. Carmel Mountain Ranch is a true shotmaker’s course with elevation changes, strategic choices and fast undulating greens. Designed by Ron Fream, the course has hosted U.S. Open qualifying, the San Diego Open qualifying and many local events. The club offers practice facilities, teaching professionals, club rentals, a complete golf shop, restaurant and bar, and banquet facilities.

Club Rules:
90 Degree ruled unless otherwise posted.
4 1/2 hour rounds: Please keep up with play.
Carts are allowed on the street only at designated crossings.
No alcohol or coolers allowed on course.
Please keep carts on path near tees and greens and at least 30 feet from all tees, greens and bunkers.
Proper dress is required.

Local Rules:
Out of Bounds: white stakes or wall/fences.
Water Hazzards: Yellow Stakes.
Lateral Water Hazzards: Red Stakes.
Flower Beds: Blue Stakes (Must take Relief, No Penalty).
Staked Trees: Must take relief from stake and trees.

Dress Code:
Observed at all times at Carmel Mountain Ranch. Members and/or guests will be refused use of the golf course if dressed inappropriately.
Collared shirts/blouses must be worn at all times. Tank tops, tube tops, halter-tops and spaghetti straps are not allowed for women. Sleeveless, and collarless shirts are not allowed for men.
Women may wear skirts, culottes or Bermuda-length shorts. Men may wear slacks or Bermuda-length shorts (minimum six-inch inseam). Short shorts, tennis or bathing-type shorts and cut-off pants are not allowed.
Shoes must be worn at all times. High heeled or ripple soled shoes are not allowed on course. Metal spikes are not allowed on the course or in the clubhouse.
